We first met Deborah Rose-Ellis the day we walked into her office in Payson unannounced. We explained that while we weren’t in any hurry, we were thinking of finding a summer home away from the heat of the valley. Over the next several months she kept us informed of the possibilities by emailing listings as they came on the market.
There was never any pressure from her, and we made the 1:15 hour trip from Mesa to Payson several times to check out houses that seemed to be what we were looking for. Each time we came she drove us to see them. She was able to provide timely information about each home and neighborhood we visited.
Her professional and friendly attitude was a welcome change from our previous dealings with real estate agents.
When we closed on the house, we found that the seller had already left town. Deborah went to the house and discovered that it was not properly cleaned. She then arranged for it to be cleaned at no expense to us. When we arrived, I found only one key that worked in only one external door out of four. We had to go back to the valley so I called her and told her that I was not able to lock up the house and was concerned.
She called back the next day and said that she had a locksmith re-key all external locks to a new master key. Again at no expense to us.
From beginning to end, she made the transaction easy for us and we would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell a home in Payson.
